Safari Pictures of us and the wild animals
halli hallo ... we are back in Arusha u still in! ;-)) Is not a kitten is too close to us, is not elefeant we stepped on the toes ... but from the beginning: Early morning
'm actually with nora u elli, the next week under the wing of Paula Lofstrom in Mwanza be (much spaaass, her 2 ;-)), to Tarangire National Park. The trip there is very beautiful, really this time even on a highway (!!), the load without problems 2 find space next to each other, by the Maasaisteppe - here we have a photo shoot after the other: Maasai on the wheel, with cow Maasai, Maasai woman with wood, Maasai woman without wood, etc. etc. etc. After lunch we enter
So this area, where are u, Loewe elephant say goodnight ...;-)) well, because we are curious ... inspires us already own the park there without any animals: this is the Africa, as one imagines: savannah Affenbrotbaeumen (or upside-down trees because they look as if the roots would grow to the sky) u umbrella acacia trees against a blue horizon! (Yes, for you would be nice photos for a better presentation of this beautiful landscape, but we can not live here upload - We are in Africa, which should not forget her .... So, for the photo you would have to be patient tonight yet a bissl ...)
it does not take long, as even the first cross zebras "friends" with her, the wildebeest, the (Did you know that the stripes of zebras is as individual as the human fingerprint?) away - and we shoot shoot, shoot. We can hardly tear himself away from these animals, but Hokage in search of the "big five" (to which elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard u rhino count, the animals, the mean for the people 'danger'). there is looking for a warthog next to the family out from under the tree shadow ... (so ugly misshapen that they are already sweet). also jump impalas (a gazellenart) past, in the bushes to hide the tiny dik-dik (look like a deer in miniature format), a Strauss passed runs in the river a marabou waiting for the rest, which makes him the fish eagle from his lunch rest. and we: snap snap snap,. further down in the river bed, we finally discover an entire herd of babies with their elefantenkuehen. Abdullah, our guide told us that the world's largest mammals Prob extinct sooner or later, as they have to eat just enough (that's also what they do all day: eat, eat, eat!) ..., we almost get the jitters, as these incredible giants 20 minutes later, 2 meters behind our jeep across the road ! Go! then we see a huge ape family in their daily washing ritual: every Laust each! ;-)) And what do we do? watch shoot shoot, shoot ;-))
we continue, right, look left u will find him, the Queens king of the animal kingdom! (or actually 3 ;-)) along with 3 other jeeps, we observe long as they in the shadow of their nocturnal hunting Prob busy relaxing in the sunset before heading back to the campsite. but not before another giraffe has passed from us. in the evening light it always looks closer to us with her beautiful long eyelashes to take pictures while we shoot, shoot ...
at the campsite waiting for our own cooking already with us to eat: soup, main course, dessert (and also with many, many vitamins !!)... oh, it's also nice to be served. the strenuous day soon force us to climb into our tent, where we read a lot about animals all the ones we have already seen. After a great breakfast with fruit, omelette u sausage, bread m. jam, peanutbutter, honey, tea, coffee, cocoa 2 different species (!) - wow, this offer almost overwhelmed us - we try our luck again in Tarangire NP. See this time not much new, but we can from the many herds eh not get enough. In the afternoon we head direction ngorongoro area, 3 hours drive by constantly changing landscape of steppe, over hills forests that are at home (you u! ;-)) remember to tropical rain forest! we have to hurry, that we still sunset our tent on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater build. now it's pretty fresh, at least we are on 3000 m height. because we are looking forward to us the night we will spend about 8 degrees in the tent ... but the outlook (diameter 20 km) to the world's largest crater, the prof even from such a German. beginning of the 20th century has been described as the eighth wonder of the world, warmed our hearts ;-))
In a hot soup abdullah explains us that we are all edible things still out of the tent into the car to create, as we face the pigs - on the look for the nuts - will be visiting. na wonderful, the night can certainly not expect more. in the pitch dark we grope for the few, as in the light of the flashlight suddenly turns up a huge shadow! as we remain rooted to 5! 3 meters away from our tents is a grazing buffalo (remember! Is also one of the big 5), the undistributed our adrenaline is God can not smell, thanks. ado, we decide by 21 clock is no longer isolated to verlassen.ohne dressed zaehne u try some quiet as we lay sleeping. what ungulates in this smacking colossus behind us and the herd from which vorbeigaloppieren our heads on something difficult is possible. sometime we sleep but then u survive the night until ten to our ears icy u quite well. very early the next morning we set off to drive the 600 m down into the crater floor and observe where the animals that migrate at this time for the water source. Soon we meet 100e zebras u gnus (now we're not soo excited as the day before!), royal crane, flamingos u a distant hippopotamus. what we do, so you think you can probably already, right? ;-)) Shoot shoot, shoot!
drives but abdullah on us, as can be seen ansch. a rhinoceros in the vicinity, which is a definite stroke of luck, as there are only 60 worldwide. and we are really lucky that u can die from the highly endangered animal (the horn is in Southeast Asia as potenzmittel used! admire!)! Hokage with spotted hyenas and buffalo (oh, that really huge, because we are afraid in retrospect even before our neighbors yesterday!), who wade in the liquid. Now get 2 male lions who stalk through the tall grass prairie, our full attention and our lens ... in search of the fifth animal in the group of the "big five", the leopard, we are of the zebras, wildebeest, ostrich warty pigs u almost bored to see at least a couple of jackals u cheetah in further binoculars distance 2 (which are the ones that 130 may km / h top speed!) - or leopard were they? so sure we're not, but for us it was on all cases, the big five that we have really got to face!
to escape the danger that we are the monkeys steal some of our ingredients lunchbox, we decide for safety's sake in the car to eat with a closed roof. What also works well, until Ellie opens her window, as they no animal can not see far u wide. attracted by the white bread of course, it takes not long before we in such a screeching sauviech dare to have Nora's shot. Abdullah was on the toilet, but we defend itself well against the intruder hit u this sassy animal (though with yield, but still!) out of the car! a little excitement at the end!
to Arusha takes a long time, the eyes are always covered again, the urinary bladder, we are glad when we are back in civilization u can not wait originating locally in our 'via via' to come to our experiences there, the last day to perpetuate in our diaries ...
for tomorrow we plan a day trip from here before we took on friday probably further direction moshi - pull at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. from there we'll meet again, wish you all the best, hug you, kiss you

Busty Brianna Planetsuzy
now our time has begun: by this nice one-day hike in the near Arusha, we have blood for more licked, so we opted for a two-day tour in Longido, 80 km north Arusha, near the border with Kenya, decided. the ride there - crammed to eight in a "private taxi" was a little odd: although the road leads via a tarmac road, but our stomachs would be a nice gravel road ... Prob have preferred holes without end u unfortunately a little too close , ie, against traffic our taxi driver put out an emergency stop to avoid again banquet ... yes, we were glad when we were hours after 1 1 \\ 2 arrived at our goal! Longido, the only village, presented in a savanna landscape as far as the eye. We can not at first believe that we now are 2 days to spend in the middle of real Maasai and them .... it was apparently similar, they also had to look much as 2 so blonde haserl through their village marschieren.wir us felt at first, of course not 100% good, do not go on, how to be beglotzt in the zoo! most of us met but friendly, welcomed us our white skin u wanted to touch it ... a few, especially the old-established let us feel that we are not welcome here.
spend the whole afternoon in front of the "post office" to watch the people passing by and try to capture this incredible atmosphere with a photo.
After a not so restful sleep (since the roosters not only crows in the morning but during the whole night!) We want to start at half past 7, with the ascent of Mt.Longido that is at least 2660 m high. Unfortunately we forget again that we are here in Tanzania to wait long for breakfast u "lunchbox" to break an hour later on. Only 2 private Maasaikrieger which we ascended the steep accompany u with their spears all wild animals keep away from us ;-)), be on time. Now it works going on: we fight our way through thorny thickets (write the so - you know what we mean, right??), Panting, sweating, panting. ansch. look quite finished, since us a stock is carved with dems then goes a bit easier. Next by moss-covered dirt floor WORKS bauemenwaelder on wet before we bueffelpfade along the wall while our warrior with wild scream away the animals that the fresh feces of According can not be far ;-)), despite our laziness the last few weeks we can make it in 4 hours to reach the summit and the effort has paid off for morning clouds disappeared and the curtain, it was the view of the steppe land between kilimanjaro u u meru the wide and Kenya uuuuunglaublich!! stronger position we take that are descended bravuroes, only the last 300 meters for our temperature feel almost unbearable. the sun burns the skin is red, the sweat runs down (of course only with us!). because we are lucky as we arrived back in the village, we also catch u randomly like another shuttle back to Arusha. You can not imagine how wonderful this shower (despite little cold water pressure u) was! For
would be the Friday night time actually 'go away' in the program have been (after all, is Friday night !!!), but eat after u 1 mojito we notice the eyes again to u, we prefer our bed (instead of one more drink) ;-))
today we have again a organisationstag, time to relax u to keep you informed. look forward to our 3 day safari tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed that we get not only birds to face ...
send to you again very sunny greetings (from Tanzania in the winter!) ;-))
all love u

Prom Dress Shops In Ahaheim
it can only get better .... !
and yes it does now hopefully! Yesterday we had a time really good day: A day in the village 7km away Ilkidinga. we will be met by our private guide in Arusha ... He will show us his village today and spend the day with us.
we walk through banana plantations, Kaffeebuesche, Maasai and Waarusha villages and beautifully scented eucalyptus forests ... yes and can that be, even the sun can look! :) That does really sleep well! Children run after us do us all welcome and our touch white skin. Iris can make their Fotografiekuenste to the test and makes a few good pictures:) After lunch, beans (with typical African food, potatoes, rice and spinach), we visit a Maasai family (a man with 7 women and 26 children several grandchildren) - unthinkable for us! the talk with one of his wives is very cute and funny ... Salim (our guide) translated for us. Also for our European way of life is incomprehensible.
After we burn are zuruckgekehrt to our starting point, our noses and cheeks - the sun was probably a bit stronger than we thought:)
but we enjoyed our first day-trip and hope to follow more experiences ...
this day, we used again for organizing things and get back again when it is news.

Baby With Thrush And Soresin Mouth
carried out escape plan
now we have again brought about a week. and I must say that this has gone by really fast. ansch. accustomed to our - doing nothing - to the normally accessible under current-stationary body ;-)). But more precise: we were beginning to
right the first time in the lab. there we saw many, many malaria parasite in all forms of u is greater, in the urinary schistosomiasis, typhoid several tests in an HIV (which unfortunately turned out positive) u a syphilis-detectable. The next day we decided we would rather be back for a little physical work on the baustelle.doch unfortunately this was not our day: no window frames fit together, nina wipes eyes turn from the dust on the nose u sniff ... so that was the end of our construction work-career, but good that we have taken medical career ;-)) but it sounds good from the evening with our () homemade gemueselasagne ... mmmmmmh was my guat of!. Sun guat that we are on the next day again tomorrow, to our sport (which at least 3 round "power walking" = cozy hiking in the flat 3 x 7 minutes) muster .... well that we start as fit into the day as it exceptionally clinic a b
usy in the day was. afternoon we travel illegally with the dalla-dalla to the city with the mission: fix escape plan! :-))
just like we have helped you, the travel, it is unfortunately not yet. ansch. the only bus company has for months before two (!) throughout its route Tanzania rescinded! we really want this bus to Arusha, the touristy center, tours from which the Kilimanjaro Safaris and the majority start to drive. ... so wonderful ... we are big for us the first close, but make an airplane? we are in a dilemma! after long u her out yesterday, we have for the more expensive but more comfortable (ui, we get old!) faster u variant chosen, ie: we fly to Arusha tomorrow afternoon!!
pack today is still called baking (bread banananut-u normal bread, chocolate chip cookies-right American way, as the saving of a dirt on the other hand :-)) u hopefully on our big adventure b evorstehendes prepare ...:- )

jambo!
Today is Sunday! And you will not believe where we are today ..... were in the church! Even 9 bis 12 clock, now's enough again for 1 year! it was on Swahelo, we received only roughly translation, but basically, the text does not always decisive. amazing how the people think the links: we, as "newbies" were asked to stand up and introduce ourselves, then we were having a "god bless you" from the community officially incorporated ;-)). we came from as in sister act, the chorus danced, the audience clapped, and shake with every swing - a total happy mood ... so our churches would be full! Prob
this was today's highlight, with the afternoon we will bake bread (after all banananutbread) terrace, design, play cards, read diary, write and watch DVDs .... spend this senseless time-wasting (at least we are in Tanzania!) must soon come to an end, otherwise we are getting frustrated. Therefore, we have hedges us an escape plan from ;-))
last week: 1 x big farewell dinner of the us-guys-with talapia fish bbq in the Nobel-quarters of the city, after first tentatively assumed ... well, let's hope in Zanzibar!
Friday at the construction site: we once again extremely busy, they would simply be helpless without us ;-)) looking forward to the deserved lunch, as iris noted that the mobile is found. We are looking for, we ask, we look again -! pointless, it's gone then big meeting of all workers, iris in the first row ;-)), 2stundenlange discussion, the "construction manager" threatens the entire team to lose their job, should the mobile phone no longer appear .... here comes the bad conscience of our hand. of course we hope to believe but not turn, but the next morning it is back, even with all the credits on it, incredible - the day is saved! then we demand the same luck on it and trust us alone to make downtown Mwanza insecure! Now we know the whole center with the landmark of the city (Bismarck rock - looks like a menhir, which threatens to fall into Lake Victoria), the "Botanical Gardens" (which is more like a private vegetable garden was like), market to, where natural meat for raw u fish stinks, what forces us to go to and the various supermarkets and internet cafes. After lunch we will of course picked up by our private taxi, paula allows us do not even during the day, a dalla-dalla (= public taxis) to private or take a taxi home!
from yesterday so we are only four of them, as well as the uk-boys continue their journey - even 4 girls, that leave from now on will be even more difficult, the sheltered enclosure. let's see how long wirs stand still. boredom is just something terrible, especially when you know that you could see and experience so much ....
what you experienced? would welcome news!
many kisses

good news
hey ho!
the most important thing first: we are now also accessible via sms yay!!
ninas number: +255786763060
and of iris: +255786763161
So, we look forward to reading your messages from home, can only speak for myself, but I feel it's probably all a bit off .... also the fact that we have very much free time: the evenings we spend arguing with ships and sink (for the uninformed: this is a card game!), the working day begins at 9 am, ends usually so by 2 Today we have then a container that was brought from America by boat, and the other volunteers have cleared up first 6 hours long, again admitted because a lot of stuff in there was surgery, and yes unfortunately still no surgery. was funnier than our morning, we have spent in another hospital, where we more or less were ignored ... well, apparently they have been there the nose full of foreign students. matter was Supergut for lunch - well, it has paid off !!;-))
Yesterday was definitely interesting: the small hospital, which is only 2 minutes by user entfert accommodation (Paula's house), only one doctor (Dr . Bon), a few sisters and 2 laboratory staff, who, so they are always glad to help if a few are motivated students and give them a bit:) We both sat with the other 2 students and Dr. Bon seinerm office and saw from 9 to 14 clock about 35 patients. Dr. Bon is full of fun, laughs and always speaks very good English. Almost all the patients we saw had malaria or typhoid fever, but one patient was in the laboratory syphilis and HIV pos. found (the HIV rate is very high here) - it was actually sent only with a painkiller for 3 days from home, that they could not afford any other medication .... bread for us to imagine here everyday!
We are sooooo that we are finally reached by cell phone:):):) Leave
Oiso Doats good-sms! ;)
we miss you,
Iris & Nina

ninas number: +255786763060
and of iris: +255786763161
Oiso Doats good-sms! ;)
we miss you,
Iris & Nina

Finally we are at the place, the next month we will not leave: Mwanza, Lake Victoria (as big as austria! :)) - A very nice town, especially when one compares it with Dar es Salaam, where we have arrived.
but from the beginning: start at 22:30 in Muenchen, stopover in Doha and arrived in Dar es salaam clock to 14th eat this gossip we spend 16 hours eating sleep-eat-sleep-only, so that we can not fall asleep again and aircraft go-sleep-eat-- mei, woa the fine! Finally arrived in Tanzania, we hope that our luggage is our long journey followed juhu ... until now everything runs smoothly! Actually
we expect to be picked up by our organization, but we are expecting hundreds of taxi drivers only annoying black, by a staff member of us as the host nation - and the heat on pretty. our idea picked up in a nice air-conditioned house brought u down the next day to our connecting flight to be falling into the water, unfortunately. Instead, we take a taxi (yes, but the driver a very cute, which takes good care of us) at a hotel suendteuren (suggested by the actual organization) with tv, lift, private bath with soap-free and so is the ride of course there shocking: only the main road
is paved, no traffic rules, cars, bikes u people - one confusion. We can not imagine can stay somewhere even semi-safe. 4 million people live in this city, of which 30% unemployed, you can think of anyway, as everything is there (especially if they get to see white skin). Therefore, we are becoming easier, place the first night in a safe spend in bed while still leaving a wonderful waiting for us. 2.schock:! Our phones, no access to the networks used here, ie we guaranteed respecting any of you can receive sms ;-( (
sleep for hours after an additional 9:)) we are up at 5 to board the flight to Mwanza to to catch everything went fine, the time flies because we have our little eyes can not re-open. reached the goal we feel we already wohler.Paula (our main organizer) and her driver pick us up with 3 other students from UK and U.S. from - we are in safety! ;-))
here we are housed in paula's house. She is nice, a mother-substitute, it is just a bit disappointed when she learns that we are taking no malaria prophylaxis. Therefore, we decide but for lariam 1x/week, the first dose, we have already eaten and now we are just waiting for hallucinations and bad dreams - ui, ui ;-))
So, all in all, until now it runs beautifully . we hope you it is all too well, we welcome any news (unfortunately not by sms POSSIBILITY
